Youth Pastor

Bryan Halsell was born and raised in Odessa Texas. He attended Permian High School (Go Mojo!) as well as the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He recently received his M.A in counseling and works as a Licensed Practicing Counselor Associate, in addition to his ministry work. Since 2009, he has attended St. Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with his now-wife, Jamie Lea Halsell. Bryan has been the co-youth pastor with Jamie for the past 11 years. Together, they seek to both lead the youth closer to Christ, as well as developing and maturing their own relationship with him. One of the most important things to Bryan is that the youth are able to see Christ at work in their everyday lives and that they would learn to see God’s extraordinary works, even in everyday living.

Youth Pastor

Jamie Lea Halsell was born and raised in Odessa Texas and has attended St. Andrew Cumberland Presbyterian Church most of her life. She attended Youth Group all throughout Junior High and High School. Right after graduation, she and her boyfriend at the time -now husband- took over the Youth ministry part-time. Jamie and Bryan both fell in love with it, and have been serving as Co- Youth Ministers ever since. Jamie has a bachelor’s degree in Christian Arts with an Emphasis on Youth Ministry from Grand Canyon University. She also loves being around her family and friends and working with horses and dogs. Aside from youth ministry, she works at Double Diamond Equestrian Center in Greenwood Tx. Jamie absolutely loves working with the youth and wants them to know how much God loves them and know that their true identity is found in Christ. She wants to lead the youth group by example, living out her faith, and helping people through daily struggles by learning to lean on God.
